The Statue of St. Frances Cabrini St. Frances Cabrini - a saintly immigrant woman from Italy who worked for the poor in the United States. She built 67 institutions; orphanages, hospitals, schools and convents. She was born in 1850 and died in Chicago in 1917. She was canonized in 1947 and is buried in New York.*
