Robert van den Berge The Library - Mariadal Monastery Roosendaal, The Netherlands Mariadal is the mother-house of Franciscan nuns. In the 1950's, 1500 nuns were living in monasteries all over Holland and in mission posts abroad. Now the youngest nun is in her 50's and within 20 years the community will no longer be. This photograph is from an on going project. |
